Particular experience in project management, and economics.

Johan Stjernschantz, M.D., Ph.D., Vice President Research and Development. 30 year experience in academic and industrial research and drug development. Inventor of latanoprost (Xalatan®), Glaucoma Research Director in Pharmacia Ophthalmics 1988-1996. Professor of Experimental Ophthalmology 1996-1999, Professor of Pharmacology and Drug Development of Uppsala University, Sweden 1999-2004.

Bahram Resul, Ph.D., Director of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Development. 20 year experience in medicinal chemistry and chemical development of prostaglandin drugs. Associate Professor of Medicinal Chemistry of Uppsala University, Sweden, since 1996. Inventor of latanoprost (active principle of Xalatan®) together with J. Stjernschantz. Employed by Pharmacia Ophthalmics 1982-1998 and by Uppsala University from 1998.

Marianne Johansson, M.Sc. (Pharmacy), Director of Clinical trials. 20 year experience in clinical research at Pharmacia (including formerly Kabi-Vitrum). Clinical trial manager responsible for phase II and III clinical trials in Xalatan® project of Pharmacia. Responsible for clinical trials in Synphora from 2000.
